Obituary for Michael McLoughlin

Michael J. McLoughlin, 85 of the Holiday Heights section of Berkeley Twsp died on Friday January 13, 2017 at Bey Lea Village, Toms River, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Belford, NJ before moving to Holiday Heights 25 years ago. He worked as a Teamster for the New York City Dept. of Sanitation in Brooklyn, NY and as an Armed Guard for the Federal Reserve in N.Y.C, NY. He was a US Army Veteran serving during Korea. A member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus Baron De Kalb Council both in Brooklyn. St Maximilian Kolbe RC Church and VFW Post 10185 both in Berkeley Twsp. Predeceased by his wife Eileen nee Rochford. He is survived by 2 sons Michael of Staten Island, NY and Kevin of Riverside, NJ. A daughter Eileen Doyle of Blauvelt, NY and two Grandchildren Timmy and Tara. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Tuesday January 17, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Wed 10:30am at St Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twsp with burial to follow at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
