Take A Rommel

Eddie & Margo were our neighbors, but they are truly family and will always be! They have been by our side through it al!  I grew up around the two of them and had a ball! I learned a lot, laughed a lot and just had the best of times with both Eddie & Margo!

Eddie taught me so many different things and one was how to sail! I never met anyone like Eddie, he was an amazing man with an even more amazing mysterious closet! (those that know, know lol) If you were working on a project whether it was building a dock or working on a car, Eddie had the right tool to help you out in his closet!

He had many Eddieisms, but the one that sticks with me is "I have to take a Rommel" aka a 15 minute nap! Well, to this day I  still call it a rommel! He told us that General Rommel aka the "Desert Fox" would never sleep, he just took these 15 minute naps to take the edge off during battle, according to Eddie :-).

Eddie, I will miss you more than you will ever know! You were a very important ingredient in who I became as a man today! Thank you for being my friend, a big brother, an inspiration and a very big and special part of my childhood!

Rest in peace Eddie, you will be missed dearly and loved for eternity!

I know you are with my Dad now catching up and planning some sort of party!

All my love!

Bobby
