Condolence From: Dan O'Brien
Condolence: Mr. Kelleher was my guidance counselor during my time at MTHS. I didn't rarely needed to speak with him about school or college admissions, but I would often stop by his office just to chat about sports or other general topics with him. He was great guy and an excellent role model who had a tremendous influence on me. He will definitely be missed.

Condolence From: Leo M Kelly
Condolence: Dan was a very special person who touched the lives of students and staff
in a real and genuine way. He was a great problem solver who diffused
conflicts between individuals in a calm and logical way. I remember many
times he "put out fires" between teachers, students, and vociferous parents
in a way that all felt he was caring, fair, and objective. Dan was a big man
with a "bigger heart."

All of our lives are lessened by his absence. I believe God will find a
exceptional place in heaven for this special and wonderful man!

Dan was also a great role model for all. May we honor him by trying to emulate
his exemplary behavior!

Condolence: Dear Ginny and Children,

It was with sadness that we learned from Dean of the passing of your husband and father. We only have happy memories of him from St. Clare's and will keep those memories close to our hearts as we pray for your family at this time. May you find peace in knowing his suffering is over and that you will be together perfectly again in heaven.
Love,
Rick and Louise

Condolence From: Dewey
Condolence: My condolences to Ginny and family,

I can’t begin to express the sadness and the emptiness in my heart for the loss of a great friend and wonderful man. My 26 plus years working and officiating side by side with Dan were among the highlights of my career. I could write volumes about our adventures from Rotunda ball to officiating together. Seldom was there a moment when the mention of a single event or word not bring uncontrollable laughter.

The urge to reminisce took me back into old files where I found my retirement speech for Dan and a copy of a Pamphlet I put together for this event entitled, “Coaching from the Rotunda.” My sadness quickly turned into laughter when I came to the realize just how much joy and humor he brought to those who knew him. Those countless stories will stay with me until my dying day. There will never be a thought of Dan that will not put a smile on my face.. God bless you Dan, you are in good hands.
