Carolyn Muraczewski (nee Danoski), 90, of Toms River, NJ passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Born in Corona, Queens, NY. She lived in Rutherford before moving to Toms River in 1988.
Carolyn worked in the Records Department of Fairleigh Dickinson University of Rutherford. A parishioner of St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River a devoted Catholic in which her faith was very strong and was a member of the Polish American Clubs of Toms River and Holiday, FL. Back in the day Bob would take Carol hand to the dance floor as people would watch ballrooms dancers like Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire was in the room winning the trophy for the night. One of her favorite things to do was taken recipes from her dozens of cookbooks testing them out and whoever walk into her place. She would always say "I have a container in the freezer take one with you" Her life's journey being one of ten, 4 sisters and 5 brothers which was a story after story. She never forgot a birthday telling all us about the person who was no longer with us their birthday was today. She was a very big fan of "Hallmark" you would never see her watching something else unless her Blue Bloods actor was on "Tom Selleck" and he would remind her of the love her life Bob.. But yet down the road she became a "Mets" fan. She knew every name of every players on the team and would tell you what play they did. She love to decorate for either an occasion, a celebration or a holiday. There was always different wreaths on the windows and a display on the table. A compassion and loving person to anyone she met. So if you ever stop in for a visited, Carol would always welcome you with open arms and that warm smile of hers.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years Robert C. Muraczewski and her grandson Eric John.
Carolyn is survived by her five children Kathy Lee Schneider, Robert Muraczewski, Mark Muraczewski and his wife Debra, Eric Muraczewski, and Kim Muraczewski and his wife Shanyn, all of Toms River, a sister Angelina Danoski of Philadelphia, PA, five grandchildren Robert John, Lauren Ashley, Christopher Mark, Jayden Elizabeth, Colin Robert and one great grandchild Anna Margaret.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, April 4, 2024 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, April 5, 2024 10:00am at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
